If you receive Food Stamps, Medicaid or Cash Assistance you can get a referral from your case worker to an agency that will give you Christmas toys for your kids. Another good place to go is a local Police station or fire house as they usuallly do toys for tots and give Christmas toys for kids. Find your local Community Action Agency as well and inquire with them about getting toys. You can also visit your children's school and ask to speak with the school counselor regarding Thanks giving and Christmas issues. I've gotten help through some of those means before. Hope that helps.
