1994 CHRYSLER CONCORDE runs, body good; trans. needs TLC - $950 (Troy)
1994 CHRYSLER CONCORDE runs, body is in good shape. Power everything (windows, locks, driver's seat, remote, etc.) Four doors, 5 seats; big trunk space. Interior in great condition. No AC, but great heat, vent and fan modes.
A couple issues: the transmission goes into "Limp Home" mode a lot. It's a factory setting meaning it shifts only neutral, 1st and 2nd gears - so when it does that, you can't really go above 45 mph. Not sure what causes it; you'll probably want to look into it, but it still drove me around town anyway.
****UPDATE: A helpful person emailed me this tip - seems like a pretty easy fix! "Hi, I spent 5 yrs In a dodge dealer and owned 2 Intrepids. If you replace your ignition key cylinder assembly, that will fix your trans problem. happened 2 both of mine and replaced tons at work." ****
Windshield has a long, shallow crack. Also, there's some minor fender-bump damage to the front passenger corner of the bumper/hood, but it looks fine and doesn't affect the car's driving.
The car is a nice dark purple/plum color. Has 120,000 miles. I'm the third owner (my grandmother owned the car before me). Engine feels strong.
I'm moving out-of-state, otherwise I would fix the "limp home" issue and keep this car! It's a good deal at this price.
