 Hello,

My husband and I are searching for a free dog or dogs for our four growing boys.

We are open to any breed ranging from small to large. We are looking to train and raise our dog or dogs with love and respect.

We are searching because I promised my oldest son that when we got a house big enough with a large play yard we would search for our loving puppies to be added into our family.

My landlord who loves dogs created a beautiful home that has a large heated dog house and big yard to hold more than just one dog. We would be happy to start off with one, but in the future we do tend to unite this puppy with another dog, so that they are not lonely and have a playmate.

In the past, we use to have (Three) American Red Nose Pit bulls that we raised as puppies. We had to give them up when our house burnt down in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2003. We have not had a dog or dogs since then, due to being heartbroken. We are now healed and ready to take in a loving dog or dogs.

We believe in training with decency and respect towards dogs. The discipline that we enforce at home is using a tone in our voice to let the dog know that they are being a "bad puppy" and praise with our voice when they are being a "good puppy."

We are against hitting, starvation, dehydration, abuse, and neglect.

We are DOG LOVERS ...  Big Time.

This new member would be considered a family member and would be able to participate in all family functions.

We are aiming to have an indoor dog who would love to be able to sleep in my oldest son’s room every night. My son is aching to teach and train another dog to raise as his own. I am confident that my oldest would be able to manage and take care of his special playmate. I trained my son how to train dogs and I am very confident that he can pass on the tradition to his future children and younger brothers.

My second oldest loved how I trained my pit bulls and asked if I could start saying "good puppy" when I praised him when he did something good or pleasing. I now do that to my two other young ones and they respond beautifully (even my husband ... LOL ....).

Please if you should know anybody who has puppies or soon to come ... please tell them to e-mail the information to ctggo@hotmail.com.

If they are to be a pit bull ... we would prefer to train them as puppies ... other than an older pit bull ( say ... over a year old) ... it really is true ... any dog can be trained any way to be ... and we want to train our new future puppy the right way ... again with love and respect.

I have two younger ones and I have to take into consideration of their protection against an older pit bull or dog who hasn't been trained by me.

My son would highly prefer to have a pit bull, but very open to a dog who steals his heart away ... right away.

Personally, I would like to have a Yorkie Terrier or a smaller breed.

The combination that we saw and very much liked was a Brindle Pit Bull/Weiner Dog... I know a crazy combination, but it was perfect due to a small size dog ... yet part pit bull.

We are very open to meeting our future puppy ... or if you should know personally about a particular dog and their personality might fit into our family ... again we would be open to meet the dog or dogs.

Please ... Please ... contact me if you should know a dog in need of a loving family and beautiful new home with a large yard.

The only time the dog/dogs would be on leash is when we are out in a public area. Otherwise ... free reign in our yard and 2,400 sq. foot home.

I do have four boys ranging from fourteen, seven, three, and two years old. I want more children ... but dogs only please.

Sincerely,

Tara Parton

SERIOUS INQURIES ONLY PLEASE!!

I state that because I don't want to put my kid’s hopes us and be disappointed.

The picture I posted of my sisters wedding is the extended family that the dog would be exposed and loved by.

I am the one on the far right with the brown shawl (mother ... Tara). My four children are in the beaded vests (youngest ... Balin, Daveon, and Chazz) and white hood (oldest son ... Patrick).

The other pictures are of our four bedroom house/heated dog house/backyard that the dog would be living in.

P.S.

I can send other pictures of the yard if requested.
