My name is Ashley, I am 25.....I would like to share with you my story: Well, things with this are somewhat tricky, and I really don't like being this open about things. Especially when it has to with this matter. But Because I am willing to do anything for my Children, I am going to open up and be completely honest. So here goes, the story behind it all...... When Daniel and I met everything was going ok. But shortly before I found out that I was pregnant, we had broke up. Now keep in mind that we were not together. I went to a friend and was well not in the best of shape none the least. I was upset that I broke up with someone, and to be honest I was putting my sorrows in the wrong place. Well, Needless to say after a few days Daniel and I worked things out. Things were going pretty well.....then I found out I was pregnant. Things during the Pregnancy were okay, other than having him committed twice. During the times that led up to him being committed, he would push me around. Never hitting me though. Instead he would hurt himself. Whether it was cutting, punching stuff, or hitting his head against the wall. After his second visit to Lake Side Alternatives, I thought that things were okay. Things didn't erupt again until after Jasmine was born. It was his third visit to Lakeside, and he was diagnosed as being Bi-polar. Well after coming home, he started taking his medication, and was doing very well. He got a job, and it seemed that the plans that we had were full steam ahead. Until sometime in September. I came home from work and watched him HIT her because she wouldn't stop crying. Things just kind went down hill from there. On September 12, 2006 I was arrested for things from my past that had caught up to me. It wasnt very long and I was released. But during my time in Jail, Daniel came up to see me and inform me that he was leaving the state. That he was going to North Carolina and not coming back. We talked up a VERBAL Custodial Agreement, that was almost 3 years ago. I have waited and waited. When I would speak to him, it was very awkward. But soon after that, phone calls became far and few in between. E-mails were being returned because I was blocked. Pictures were not being sent to any of the Family members. It wasnt until June or July of this year(2008) that he contacted me. And that was to say that he was filing for child support. Now, I am not seeking help for child support............I am seeking help for Legal Fee's.........Reason being, He may be "legally" her father, but he is not blood to her. And he Made that Abundantly clear to myself and to her biological father. So please I am asking you to help out. I am comine to everyone as a mother in need, and who is willing to do anything to help her child.
