Hello! I am writing for my husband. he has always done his very best to help his family, friends, and even strangers any way that he possibly could. He is a heart patient and a diabetic, but he has still continued to work hard to support me, and my huge medical bills. I am disabled and have been in the hospital a total of 9 times in the past 17 months. He now has lost his job, due to his position being eliminated by his employer. The doctor has found a tumor in his breast by means of an ultrasound, and mammogram, and now they say he must have a biopsy, but due to no medical insurance we can not afford this procedure. He is already having discharge from this breast and it is very tender all the way up under the arm pit. This has been going on for the past several months. We have been trying to get the doctors to do something before now, but I guess they have finally decided to. He has an appointment with a surgeon on the 24th of this month, if we can come up with the money to pay for the visit. We have contacted the American Cancer Society, and they stated it would take quite a while to get approved for help. I am disabled, and can not work. Yes we were offered Cobra Insurance that would cost us almost $300 dollars per month then our monthly income. Please I know I am begging, but please just pray about this, and do what God lays on your heart to do. We need a total of appoximately $38,000 to cover the biposy and the hospital bill, and his meds. If you would like to know how much in assets we have our bank account is in the negeative, our utillities are behind, and we are about to lose our 1988 pick up because we can not make the payments. It takes over $950 dollars per month just for our medication, we live on around $45 to $50 dollars of groceries a month. So it's not like we blow our money. We are just trying to keep on living.
