A newbe like you should first take the MSF riders course a good first bike for an adult would be a Yamaha Virago 535. Comfortable,powerful, yet small enough to menuver. And not too heavy for when it falls on you. Remember there are two kinds of riders....those who have had roads rash and those that are going to get road rash.

The bike has 25K+ miles. I bought it out of storage, it is a clear title. It has a new/used set of Second Look seats for it, new o-ring chain, front sprocket, original fairings, side panels, extra set of seats, new windscreen, new key set fitting all locks and ignition, had the carbs removed and rebuilt, new set of grips, new brake master cylinder & kit, new battery, changed all fluids, filters, spark plugs, etc...

The bike cranked up the first time, but ran really rough. I took it to a motorcycle shop and they tried syncing the carbs, but I don't think they knew what they were doing. I actually rode the bike down the road and back, great accelleration after I got it up above 3000rpm, but couldn't get the bike to idle right. Since I got it back from those idiots I can't get it to start. I'm done. Your turn.

What it is missing: some screws and grommets to hold the rest of the side and lower fairings on, the center kick stand. That's it. Needs new tires.

You pick it up. I will remove this listing by the end of Saturday, March 29th and list the bike on Ebay if I haven't sold it.
